OUR PROGRAM

The Pueblo Bulls are an elite JR 'A' U20 hockey program that plays in the prestigious USPHL Premier in the Mountain Division. Pueblo, Colorado is located just south of Denver, Colorado. The Bulls have built a winning program in just two years having back-to-back 25+ win seasons, securing a playoff spot in both their first two seasons and a trip to the Mountain Conference finals in just their second season. The Bulls strive to develop players and give them great opportunities to become better players on the ice as well as people off the ice.

The Bulls' focus is to win a National Championship, and move players on to JR 'A' Tier II, NCAA, Pro hockey, and ACHA DIV I. The Bulls play out of the Pueblo Ice Arena. The arena sits 870 people while allowing up to 1,000 fans in total. With a first-class locker room and training facilities, the Bulls are an elite program built to help players move on to the next level with a focus on on-ice skills along with elite off-ice training from some of the best trainers in the nation, at the luxurious PBR Sports Performance Center.

The Bulls are trained by 6 year NFL Lineman Antwon Burton who is the Executive Director of PBR Sports Performance Center

"Antwon is more than just a veteran football player. As an athlete, trainer, and individual who had the odds stacked against him from a very young age, Antwon is uniquely equipped to train and prepare athletes for both the public and private sides of life.

Growing up as a kid in a tough section of Buffalo, NY, Antwon has learned a true grit and grind at a young age. He has taken those lessons and applied them in college, the NFL, and his professional career. He has trained collegiate and professional athletes across the country of all sports who have reached their ultimate goals, all while traveling to give motivational speeches to schools, universities and large corporations across the country"-PBR Sports Performance Center

 

Antwon is helped by Jarvis Harrod who focuses on the team's training and growth off the ice. "Coach Jarvis is a Colorado Springs, CO native. Coach Jarvis attended Kansas State University and later obtained his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology from Washburn University. Jarvis has a background in college athletics where he played college football as a defensive back. Coach Jarvis is a leader in sports performance training and focuses on developing athletes in improving their overall performance. Coach Jarvis has experience training high school, college, and elite-level athletes. Coach Jarvis is certified in personal training, speed and agility, and performance enhancement. Coach Jarvis is very passionate and confident in taking each athlete to his/her next level!" -PBR Sports Performance Center

OUR ALUMNI

The Bulls have helped numerous players move on to the next level whether it is top NCAA DIV III programs, elite pro hockey leagues, top-end ACHA DIV I programs as well as "Tier II" Jr Leagues. The Bulls currently have 7 NCAA DIV III commits, 4 players playing pro level in Sweden, Czech Republic, Poland the UK, 1 ACAC Canadian College, and 4 ACHA DIV I commits including the ACHA DIV I leading scorer in the nation. The Bulls Alumni continue to make a name at the next level.

OUR GAMEDAY EXPERIENCE

The Bulls' gameday experience is second to none. With an average of 800 fans per night and multiple sell-outs, you will be playing in front of the loudest and best fans in junior hockey. Bulls players experience a pro-level game day with player intros, the Bulls live Bull mascot "Pueblo the Bull", fan skates after the games which include autographs, one on one time with Bulls fans, and an elite level of support from the amazing city of, Pueblo. Bulls players will experience the I-25 Cup rivalry with the Northern Colorado Eagles where games sell out and even when on the road expect 300 Pueblo Bulls fans to travel with and create a home game environment in our biggest rivals' arena!
