CHRIS WILHITE

HEAD COACH

Chris Wilhite will be in his 3rd year of being Head Coach of the Pueblo Bulls. In his first two seasons as Head Coach of the Bulls, Coach Wilhite has lead his team to back-to-back 25+ win seasons while leading the 2020-21 Bulls to the Mountain Division Championship in just their second year. Coach Wilhite is a native of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Before heading to juniors, Coach Wilhite played for the Pikes Peak Miners 16U AAA program in the NAPHL. Coach Wilhite then spent 4 seasons playing for the El Paso Rhinos where he sits 5th all-time in games played, 7th all-time in assists, and 2nd in points among defensemen in franchise history. In his last seasons with the Rhinos, Coach Wilhite was a part of a National Championship team after going 57-2-1. Coach Wilhite was named to the "All Thorne Cup Team". After completing his junior career Coach Wilhite committed to play for Saint Mary's University of Minnesota NCAA DIV III where he got his degree in Business Management.

DAVID NELSON

GENERAL MANAGER/ASSISTANT COACH

David Nelson will be in his 3rd year as the General Manager and Assistant Coach of the Pueblo Bulls. Coach Nelson is a native of the famous hockey hotbed: Warroad, Minnesota. Coach Nelson spent 2 years playing for the Warroad High School Varsity team before heading to the El Paso Rhinos. Coach Nelson spent 3 seasons with the Rhinos where he sits 7th in all-time games played, 10th all-time in goals, 9th all-time in assists, and 7th all-time in points in franchise history. Coach Nelson was also a part of the 2013-14 El Paso Rhino team that went 57-2-1 while collecting a WSHL Championship and National Championship. Coach Nelson was voted as a member of the "All Thorne Cup Team" including a hat trick in the Thorne Cup Championship game. After finishing his junior career Coach Nelson committed to Saint Mary's University of Minnesota NCAA DIV III where he finished his degree in Business Management.

TYLER TUNEBERG

ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER/ASSISTANT COACH

Tyler Tuneberg will be in his 3rd season as the Bulls' Assistant General Manager and Assistant Coach. Coach Tuneberg is a native of Woodbury, Minnesota where he spent two seasons playing for Woodbury's Varsity High School team before heading to juniors. Coach Tuneberg played his junior hockey in the SIJHL for the Fort Frances Lakers as well as the Minnesota Iron Rangers. In his first season of junior hockey, Coach Tuneberg finished second on the Iron Rangers in points by a defenseman. After spending his second season with the Minnesota Iron Rangers, Coach Tuneberg committed to Saint Mary's University of Minnesota NCAA DIV III where he completed his degree in Business Management. 

AUSTIN HOFF

ASSISTANT COACH

Austin Hoff will be in his 3rd season as a Bulls' Assistant Coach. Coach Hoff is a native of Lake Stevens, Washington. Coach Hoff played for the Seattle Junior Hockey Association before spending one season with the Wenatchee Wild 18U AAA program in the NAPHL. Coach Hoff spent two seasons in the NAHL with the Minot Minotaurous and Rio Grande Valley Killerbees as well as two seasons with the El Paso Rhinos. Coach Hoff was also a part of the 57-2-1 National Champion El Paso Rhinos where he was also voted a part of the "All Thorne Cup Team". Coach Hoff finished his junior career 2nd all-time in playoff goals for the El Paso Rhinos. Coach Hoff committed to play for Saint Mary's University of Minnesota NCAA DIV III. Coach Hoff went on to get his Business Management degree from Eastern Washington University where he spent two seasons as Assistant Coach for the Eastern Washington University BCIHL team.
